Grab your space suits and bring along your love for zero-gravity, because this ship is taking off again. Only this time, we are bringing along an orbital craft and a deep-space explorer, so that we may chart the far reaches of the music universe and bring back lots of fantastical curiosities for you all to enjoy. Here’s what’s new on Four4ths.com:
The entire website has had a major overhaul, but the newest and most obvious update is the Blog. We went ahead and retro-fitted this new blog to include all of the old “News” updates from the previous website, so you will see all of those posts now re-formatted and categorized below. This blog is intended to cover all things “electronic dance music”, and will be showcasing new music from around the globe, event coverage and announcements, photos, video, interviews, interesting articles, and possibly even a little op-ed type content to round it all out. This now makes it possible to share these posts on social networks, and you can interact directly with us by commenting on any post. You can subscribe to the Four4ths blog and receive new post notifications by entering your email address in the Subscribe field in the upper-right corner.
The Releases section is the spot where all of the upcoming and previous Four4ths Records releases will be showcased. We are very excited to be bringing in and introducing some brilliant and fresh new talent along with our seasoned producers who are already making waves in the world of EDM.
Also, don’t forget to check out the Shop tab for all that sweet Four4ths merchandise like T-shirts, embroidered caps, iPhone cases, stickers and more. All of the items are print-to-order and most can be customized (change shirt color, material, etc) so you can individualize the styles to your own liking.
And of course, be sure to check out the Artists section for tons of free music from our artists over the years, DJ set downloads, and features/links on our most active artists who are making big moves in the scene currently. ((=_+))
Four4ths can be traced back to the year 2000, and was originally forged as a promotional group of DJs and live performers to assemble electronic dance music events utilizing a network that spans the United States, from Florida to California, and now branching out to other parts of the globe. During this time various members of the crew have been writing, performing, and producing all forms of electronic music, influenced heavily by the nightlife and dance club hits and misses. Fast-forward one decade–As soon as artists such as Michael Mcnabb and DJ Kable started garnering the attention of labels from the U.S. and the U.K. and were hired for original release production and remix duties, it became clear that it was now time to take the Four4ths brand to the next level. After a decade of throwing successful events and showcasing talent within a wide range of genres, 2011 saw Four4ths Records become an inexorable reality, with a set focus on releasing quality original sounding music with no boundaries in style, other than it being accessible music targeted for the ears and feet of dance floors worldwide. There is so much to report, as this is the latest evolutionary stage in the unfolding story of that which is Four4ths. While it was probably an obvious inevitability to many of you, this was really 10 years in the making….and we weren’t going to pull the trigger until we were sure we had the target lined up just right. Taking notes from the dance floor and translating that into the studio = we’ve got some great releases lining up already.
Looking into the future: We are also reaching out to all of our EDM producer friends out there: if you would like consideration or know someone that does, send links (please, no attachments) to info(at)four4ths.com. We will also be considering talent for remix duties. True to form, all EDM genres will be considered for this label…no cliques, no boundaries, that’s always how we’ve rolled with 4/4. It’s gotta’ be quality though.

Welcome to the relaunch of Four4ths.com! We’ve spent some time updating the website in a way that will streamline information and make it slightly easier for us to communicate with our fan base. We’ve added some new sections, too. As activity with our artists heats up, it seemed about the right time for a fresh look and some new places to hold additional content. For one, now you will be able to stay informed of all the upcoming releases, and where to buy them (Beatport, iTunes, etc). Tons of free stuff is available, just like we always do…with some new additions. Be sure to check out all of the free MP3 tracks and DJ mixes. Stay tuned, as there are quite a few announcements to make about recent and upcoming developments with the Four4ths crew…
